Love My Dress
Last year, I had the absolute pleasure of doing bridal hair and makeup for Husna’s wedding in June. Their special day took place at the stunning Roman Baths in Bath, one of the most beautiful and historic venues in the UK.
This gorgeous wedding was featured in Love My Dress, which was such an honour! Husna and Francesco’s day was captured beautifully by the talented photographer Emily Black, while the elegant hairstyles were created by Sam Dare from Bath Bridal Hair. I was, of course, on bridal makeup, helping Husna feel confident and radiant.
Creating the Perfect Smokey Eye
Husna wanted a soft yet smoky eye while keeping her skin fresh and natural. Because the Roman Baths are beautifully dimly lit, we chose darker greys and blacks rather than browns, which helped the makeup stand out without feeling heavy. This approach really emphasised Husna’s stunning features and gave a sophisticated yet timeless bridal look.
Elegant Bridal Hairstyles by Bath Bridal Hair
For her hairstyle, Sam created a chic updo that complemented the low-cut back of her dress perfectly. Together, we aimed to keep the bridal party makeup understated and elegant, which worked beautifully with the mix of white and rose-coloured bridesmaid and flower girl dresses.
Collaboration and Creativity
I love collaborating with other creatives, and it was so nice to see a familiar face at the wedding! From Bath to Bristol, I’ve been lucky to work with so many incredible teams, and this wedding was no exception.
