Try half-updos with volume at the crown or waves pulled back from the face for heart-shaped faces. Oval faces look best with half-updos and hair pulled back from the side to show off cheekbones.

If you’re having a summer outdoor wedding, heat-proof styles may work better than complicated updos or intricate braids. For formal winter weddings, opt for something a bit more put together such as a sleek bun, soft waves or a messy bun with a braid.

Above all else, and completely ignoring all of the advice I’ve just given, do what makes you happy. If you never wear your hair up and feel more comfortable with it down – wear it down. Don’t let anyone tell you how you should look on your wedding day!
