Emma’s October wedding at De Vere Tortworth Court was a beautifully elegant autumn celebration, set against the stunning Gloucestershire/Bristol countryside. This iconic venue is a favourite for couples planning a luxury wedding, and it was a pleasure to provide wedding hair and makeup for Emma on her special day.

For Emma’s bridal look, we focused on creating natural wedding makeup with a luxury finish – timeless, glowing and effortlessly elegant. The aim was to enhance Emma’s features while ensuring her makeup photographed beautifully and lasted throughout the entire day.

Emma chose a romantic yet refined bridal updo that suited both the season and the venue perfectly (It was a little rainy, and so updos are often a good idea). The style worked beautifully with her dress, which was stunning, I might add, and allowed for movement while still holding its shape throughout the day.

Tortworth Court is also a working hotel, which is great as they really do have everything you need. And Elvis, the wedding co-ordinator, is always so, so helpful.
